Description
A Senior Application Developer is needed to complete the Position Management Application (PMA) for the Office of Enterprise Technology (OET). The PMA is responsible for managing all positions (approx. 14K) and interface with downstream and legacy systems.
Scope:
The Senior Application Developer shall provide the services in this section:
User Experience (UX), middle tier, and data store programming
Deployments onto development, testing, and production servers
Interaction with Business Analyst for clarification of business rules
Providing bi monthly demonstrations of the product to management and the customer
Fully document source code and project operations
Provide initial support for product for a short time after Go Live

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer Science, or other related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
Requires a minimum of 8 years of development experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of C# experience
Requires a minimum of 3 years of any UX development
Requires a minimum of 1 year of Silverlight UX development
Needs to demonstrate proficiency with .NET 4.0, VS2010, and Telerik controls
Experience in both WCF/SOAP and RIA/Rest service calls and consuming them in a Silverlight environment
Experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools, and demonstrate proficiency for interfacing current data and transforming into several downstream systems
Proficiency with MSSQL 2005, LINQ, and prefer Entity Framework experience
Creative ability to design fully functional and aesthetically pleasing User Interfaces with minimal input
Ability to work with limited supervision and can work equally in a solo or team environment
Excellent verbal and communication skills a must
Preference given to candidates with Windows Workflow experience
Requires a minimum of 8 years of development experience

Candidate must interface with existing code base and have the ability to export collected data. Executive management has set a deadline for Go Live and this must be hit, so candidate must be able to learn existing codebase and business terms quickly.

Complete middle tier integration with user interface
Knowledge transfer and final technical documentation
