Overview:
Under general supervision, the Application Developer performs work assignments in one or more of the following areas:
n-Tier Application/database development providing technical guidance and direction to other staff members
Participating in project planning and requirements definition
System/application design, program/system development, unit testing, support during QA and user testing, implementation and integration
Customer support for, and technical expertise in, end-user decision support software tools and end-user computing technology
Conducting all activities in accordance with standards and procedures
Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the Application Developer performs work assignments in one or more of the following areas:
n-Tier Application/database development providing technical guidance and direction to other staff members
Participating in project planning and requirements definition
System/application design, program/system development, unit testing, support during QA and user testing, implementation and integration
Customer support for, and technical expertise in, end-user decision support software tools and end-user computing technology
Conducting all activities in accordance with standards and procedures
Responsibilities:
Implement modifications, and design and implement new features required to add new reverse logistics clients
Perform assigned software development tasks as part of a project team assigned to enhance existing web-based computer systems or develop new web-based computer systems
Ensure the smooth implementation of the data tier of a project or enhancement, including creating required change management documentation and developing implementation scripts and procedures
Provide customer support for end-users related to web-based computer systems
Qualifications:
Perform assigned software development tasks as part of a project team assigned to enhance existing web-based computer systems or develop new web-based computer systems
Ensure the smooth implementation of the data tier of a project or enhancement, including creating required change management documentation and developing implementation scripts and procedures
Provide customer support for end-users related to web-based computer systems
Qualifications:
B.S. in computer science or information systems fields required
5+ years work related experience
Strong experience using SQL server
Strong experience in T-SQL based Stored Procedures and functions
Experience in writing high performance code
Experience using SQL Integration Services and SQL Reporting Services
5+ years work related experience
Strong experience using SQL server
