Description:
Oracle Applications Technical Consultant. Our Columbus, Ohio client has a short-term contract need for an Oracle Applications Technical Consultant who will be responsible for interacting with clients and other IT team members to analyze, define, size, document and configure/develop/program the proposed solution.

Our Columbus, Ohio client has a short-term contract need for an Oracle Applications Technical Consultant who will be responsible for interacting with clients and other IT team members to analyze, define, size, document and configure/develop/program the proposed solution.
This role requires at least 5 years of Oracle Applications development, implementation and Support experience. Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study is preferred, and an advanced degree and any oracle certifications are a plus. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of oracle business/data flows with strong focus on financials and experience working on at least 5 modules among GL,AP,AR,FA,PO,Projects, OTL, iExpenses.
Additional requirements include:
• Solid understanding of PL/SQL, Oracle SQL development, J2EE programming/Development, Oracle API's, Workflow, System Administration, Approval Management Engine(AME), XML Publisher, Discoverer and performance optimization while adhering to best practice coding techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (RICE) for requirements gathering and enhancement design.
• Should be organized and posses strong verbal and communication skills. Demonstrate the ability to communicate project goals, objectives, project status to senior executives.
• Previous support experience in coordinating with oracle Support, client stake holders and other IT personal as required is desired.
• Proactive review and recommendation on Workflow improvements in the system to achieve the required business processes.
• Should be familiar with AIM methodology and document processes, procedures and design documents as required.
• Ensure the expected application performance levels are achieved and assist other team members with their projects as needed
