Description:
Data Modeler with strong DW experience. A contract role is available with our Columbus, OH client for a Data Modeler.. The candidate will drive reuse of data models at all levels. He or she will work with Information Architects on patterns for Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Advanced Analytics. This person will also assist in defining the reference architecture and proof of concept projects for new data warehousing technology and techniques.

Requirements:
• Solid communication, presentation and analytical skills- this is very important
• In depth understanding of data warehousing, database design, data architecture, master data management, ODS, OLTP and data integration concepts.
• Highly proficient in data modeling skills creating Conceptual, Logical and Physical models for OLTP and analytical systems.
• Expertise in data modeling tools like Power Designer and Erwin.
• Strong experience in Kimball and Inmon Data Warehouse design methodologies.
• Previous experience as DBA in Teradata with special emphasis on database design and performance tuning.
• Data Modeling Skills (star, 3NF and canonical) Data Warehousing skills including active and advanced analytics
• At least Bachelor's degree
