{blackbabes} Kelly Rowland wants to watch Beyoncé give birth

Singer Kelly Rowland expects to be in the delivery room when her friend Beyoncé Knowles gives birth early next year.

"I wouldn't miss the birth of Beyoncé's baby. I can't. I don't want to miss those moments," Rowland, now a judge on the British version of "The X Factor," told the Daily Mail. "It's life happening to people that I love and I want to be a part of it."

Rowland says she learned her lesson in 2009, when she was in the UK promoting her solo album and another close friend went into labor.

"My best friend had a baby and I wasn't there to see the baby born ... I watched my best friend's baby being born on Skype," she said, not acknowledging that watching a friend's birth, in person or on a computer, is not the norm. "I get choked up even now talking about it because I wasn't there. So now it's important to me to share those moments."

But perhaps either Knowles or her husband Jay-Z will object to Rowland's presence. The two have yet to respond to the fact that Rowland accidentally leaked the sex of their baby in an interview earlier this month. When discussing Knowles' baby shower, Rowland said, "I have no idea what I'm going to buy Beyoncé at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible."

Who knows what information Rowland might let slip if present for the birth.

Rowland and Knowles have been friends since age 7, when Rowland moved to Houston, Texas, and began singing in the group Girl's Tyme. Five years later, the group was voted off the talent competition show "Star Search."

Rowland says that the experience makes her the perfect "X Factor" judge now. "It felt like my world had ended. You felt you'd had your heart ripped out ... So yes, I know absolutely how it feels when you're voted off 'X Factor,'" she said. "I know what it's like, too, to have a meeting with a production company and have the excitement of thinking you're one step closer to being signed and then it doesn't happen ... These things happened to me."
