Her 2008 wedding to now-husband Jay-Z was a closely guarded secret, but Beyoncé is revealing a glimpse of the big day — a two-second glimpse — in her new video for the emotional single "I Was Here."
Toward the end of the four-and-a-half-minute clip, which appears on vevo.com, the singer shares brief front and back shots of her flowing white wedding dress, which has never been seen publicly. The exaggerated sweetheart gown appears to have an elaborate fitted back with layers of fine fabric and a long train.
The rest of the video features major moments in Beyoncé's life: meeting luminaries such as Nelson Mandela, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson and Oprah Winfrey; performing as a youngster and later as a member of Destiny's Child; joining Jay-Z on stage in concert; and revealing her baby bump at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. She sings, "I wanna say I lived each day until I die," and from the looks of this video, so far, she definitely has.
