Detailed Description
Additional Notes on position:
NetApp skills are a must. Using basic commands to deliver information regarding the ability to add shelves to an existing cluster - storage expansion. Determining which ports are SAN fabric connections. Using DFM to collect information and set alerts.
The storage Administrator will be part of storage team
responsible for maintaining and supporting all Distributed
Storage including Netapp, HP and IBM shark. They will also
support SAN switches for all distributed systems in the multiple
Data centers. This is a large and fast paced environment.
The individual must possess strong documentation and communication
skills (both oral and written), working level project management knowledge,
detailed planning and organization skills, can follow directions and take/set
direction, able to work independently without direct supervision, ability to
multitask and works well in a team environment. This job does require
Occasional evening and weekend work and participation in an on call rotation.
