Christina Milian will serve as the new social media correspondent of The Voice when the singing competition returns next year, NBC announced Wednesday.
The Grammy-nominated singer-actress, 30, replaces G4's Alison Haislip.
"Christina's extensive musical background and widespread recognition make her the perfect choice for the role of Social Media Correspondent on The Voice," NBC's President of Alternative and Late Night Programming, Paul Telegdy, said in a statement. "Her experience as a singer will provide a comfort level to our artists when they speak to her about the ins and outs of the competition. She is a hugely valuable addition as we prepare for another spectacular season."
Milian is best known for hit singles such as "AM to PM" and "Dip It Low," as well as films including Love Don't Cost a Thing, Be Cool and the 2010 ABC Family movie Christmas Cupid. However, she got her start in the entertainment business serving as a reporter on Disney Channel's Movie Surfers during her teen years.
The new season of The Voice premieres on Sunday, Feb. 5 directly following the Super Bowl.
Are you excited to see Milian tweet it up on the new season of The Voice? Will you miss Haislip?
