Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration:6+months
Note:This is full time Position only EAD,G.C& Citizen

 

Description

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

The .NET/SharePoint developer collaborates with fellow IT department team members in the design, development and support of custom .NET/SharePoint applications used by employees and clients of the firm. In addition to working with IT department team members, this individual will interact with others throughout the firm.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Collaborates with fellow IT department team members in the design, development and support of custom .NET/SharePoint applications
• Performs project-based and time-sensitive tasks under limited supervision
• Performs other IT department related duties as assigned
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
Expertise in applying the following technologies:
• SharePoint 200x (SPS/WSS/MOSS, administration, configuration, object model, web part and application development)
• VB.NET (ASP.NET, console, web service applications)
• CAML
• HTML, XML, XSLT
• InfoPath 2003
• JavaScript
• VSS source control
• Ability to organize tasks and priorities under minimal supervision;
• Ability to collaborate with team members;
• Ability to interact with others throughout the firm
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deal responsibly with sensitive and confidential information in a discreet and secure manner
• Ability to function in a team environment
 
Other desirable skills include:

 

• Configuring ISA 200x for use with Windows SharePoint Services
• Deploying extranets using Windows SharePoint Services
• IIS 6.0+ (installing and configuring ASP.Net applications)
• Integrating SharePoint with Elite Financial System, Interwoven
• Office 200x automation via .NET
• SQL Server 2000/2005 (SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures & triggers)
• Workflow applications development (e.g. BizTalk, K2, MetaStorm, WWF)
 
Requirements

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
• Minimum of 5 years experience developing applications in a Microsoft environment
• Law Firm Experience Preferred
• 2-3 years developing .NET and SharePoint applications
