Position:System Engineer
Location:Plano TX
Duration:6+months

 

Description:
Required Skills:
Proven SCOM Implementation experience. Specific knowledge of implementing the client and defining the rules and critieria.
Experience with NETCool to open incidents in Remedy from SCOM alerts.

 

Other Skill Requirements:
Knowledge of, and experience with, Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008 Server operating systems
Knowledge of, and experience with, Dell and HP hardware profiles and components (preferably Dell PE2600, PE2900, HP DL380 GX).
Knowledge of, and experience with, Microsoft WMI (Windows Management Interface).
Knowledge of, and experience with Microsoft Active Directory design, structure, and functionality
Knowledge of, and experience with, Ethernet Network basic design and functionality (messaging, routing, TCPIP fundamentals, DNS, WINS) both from a LAN perspective as well as Enterprise perspective
Knowledge of, and experience with, NIC card configuration and binding.
Project management experience (Project Development fundamentals, reporting, organizing)
Knowledge of, and experience with, Network Security design, access and functionality

 

Daily Job Duties:
Work with Team lead to install and configure SCOM clients on Stores Servers
Work with Team lead to write rules, determine criteria and intergrate with NetCool to open incidents in Remedy.
