Former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland shocked her mum with her racy new video for Motivation - because she isn't wearing much in it.

The singer knew her mum would be a little upset with the sexual overtones in the promo, in which she writhes around in rags with a band of scantily-clad male dancers, and she decided to give a private screening - so her mother could be with her when she first saw it.

Rowland says, "She was like, 'Lord have mercy!' She said, 'I have to keep remembering that you're 30-years-old because whatever was happening on that set, was way too much.'"

But Rowland explains, "There's nothing wrong with being a vixen... I'm just celebrating being a woman and my sexuality has come out."
