Soulful songstress Lauryn Hill will give a rare performance at the Gansevoort Park Avenue on New Year's Eve. The show on the rooftop of the new hotel will also kick off a series of concerts, "Live at Gansevoort Park," at the venue. Sources said organizers are also working on a deal for the show to be televised or streamed online. After a long hiatus from performing, Hill in August was a special guest at the "Rock the Bells" concert on Governors Island. She's said to be working on a new album, her first studio album since her 1998 hit, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill."
