Halle Berry had dinner Monday night at Nuela on West 24th with the restaurant's owner, Stephane Bibeau, the former business partner of her ex, Gabriel Aubry. Berry had roasted lamb, sipped red wine, and was overheard chatting with Bibeau about her upcoming Broadway show. A spy told us: "Halle said she was looking forward to appearing in 'The Mountaintop,' which has been put back to early next year. She seemed relaxed and enjoyed her meal." Berry, now dating French actor Olivier Martinez, didn't mention Aubry, who teamed up with Bibeau in 2006 on failed East Village eatery Café Fuego.
