Sugarland has set a release date for the duo's much-talked-about next album, The Incredible Machine, but the twosome has been holding out on the first single.

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush hit the road this year with the Incredible Machine Tour, but they decided not to unveil the album's initial release, "Stuck Like Glue," onstage. They co-wrote it with two guys have strong non-country ties. Shy Carter wrote Rob Thomas' current pop hit "Someday." Kevin Griffin is a founding member of Better Than Ezra, a rock band best known for the hit "Good." Sugarland's drummer, Travis McNabb, spent more than a decade with Ezra and remains on good terms with the group.

The new Sugarland single will be officially released to radio July 26. While it hasn't been previewed publicly, Jennifer's description makes it sound as as if it's in the same vein as "All I Want To Do."

"'Stuck Like Glue' is just plain, unashamed, Sugar-fun!" she says. "It sticks in your brain, no pun intended. To me it feels young, hip and of course sassy! I can't wait for it to get out there so we can play it live in our show. We've been sitting on our hands to not play it live 'til it was released."

The entire Machine album is due Oct. 19. Meanwhile, the duo has started a "Week In Review" video posting on YouTube that will feature a glimpse at Sugarland's summer progress with new episodes every Wednesday. The introductory edition can be viewed here.
