{blackbabes} Serena, Kuznetsova uncertain of playing Australian Open

(Reuters) - Former world number one Serena Williams has yet to make a decision about her participation at the Australian Open, while world number 12 Svetlana Kuznetsova is also a doubt for the first grand slam of 2018 after undergoing wrist surgery.

Williams was around two months pregnant when she captured her 23rd grand slam singles title in Melbourne earlier this year and was hoping to defend her crown next January following the birth of her daughter in September.

"Serena is getting ready for 2018," the 36-year-old American's coach Patrick Mouratoglou told CNN. "She is practicing and getting back in shape. I will be joining her soon in Florida.

"We will see how her body is reacting and how her tennis level is and we will take a decision regarding Australia."

Russian Kuznetsova told local media that she was recovering from wrist surgery conducted earlier this month after separate injuries to the area and said there was no specific time frame for her return.

"I had two injuries in my wrist, so I had to do the operation," the 32-year-old double major winner said.

"There's a very complicated diagnosis. I'm still recovering and the doctor does not talk about specific dates when I can start training and play. Australia, most likely, I will have to miss."

Meanwhile, Victoria Azarenka, who has not played since July due to an ongoing child custody battle, is set to return at the ASB Classic in January but will be without coach Michael Joyce, who released a statement on their partnership.

"Vika is an extremely talented player. While I am excited to see her return to tennis, I encourage and respect her decision to put her family first," Joyce said of the Belarusian two-time Australian Open champion and former world number one.

"It is with deep regret that I have decided to move forward with my coaching career while she continues to work out her private life. I look forward to seeing her on the tour soon and wish her the best of luck."

The Australian Open will be held from Jan. 15-28.

They join previously announced cast members John Ortiz, Richard Cabral, Juan Pablo Raba and John Gallagher Jr. in the Pierre Morel-directed film, written by Chad St. John.

When the system shields the murderers from justice, Riley sets out to transform herself from citizen to urban guerrilla. She spends years in hiding honing her mind, body and spirit to become an unstoppable force, eluding the underworld, the LAPD and the FBI as she methodically delivers her personal brand of justice.

{blackbabes} Meghan Markle's Suits Exit Confirmed

Suits Meghan Markle Season 7 Rachel

It's official: She's leaving Pearson Specter Litt… and joining the royal family.

Following the announcement of her engagement to the UK's Prince Harry, Meghan Markle is indeed leaving the cast of the USA drama Suits, the network confirmed on Tuesday. Markle, who has played paralegal-turned-lawyer Rachel Zane since the show's pilot, "will depart from USA's legal drama at the end of Season 7, which returns to the network in early 2018," per the official statement.

Markle's exit was first reported a few weeks back, with her co-star Patrick J. Adams (Mike) also reportedly set to depart the series. (USA has still not confirmed Adams' exit.) Suits hasn't even officially been renewed for an eighth season, and contracts for all of the main cast members are set to expire at the end of Season 7. However, a Suits spinoff centered on former co-star Gina Torres' character Jessica is currently in development.

Markle may actually end up walking down the aisle twice next year: Her Suits character Rachel is currently engaged to Mike, and her real-life wedding to Prince Harry is slated for May.

{blackbabes} Harry and Meghan to wed in May at Windsor Castle

https://nyppagesix.files.wordpress.com/2017/11/gettyimages-880232960.jpg?quality=90&strip=all&w=915

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will marry at Windsor Castle in May, palace officials said Tuesday.

The pair, who announced their engagement Monday, are to exchange vows in St. George's Chapel on the castle's grounds, according to NBC News.

The chapel is near and dear to Harry's heart.

He was christened in the chapel, and it also is where the body of his late mother, Princess Diana, was laid out for a week before her funeral at Westminster Abbey. Harry and his older brother, Prince William, paid their respects to their mum in private there at the time.

Before she weds Harry, Markle must be baptized in the Church of England and then "confirmed" in the faith — both of which she has agreed to do, royal officials said.

Markle is a divorced Protestant. The Church of England is Anglican.

{blackbabes} Inside Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s pricey honeymoon

Now that Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian's whirlwind wedding celebrations have come to an end, the newlyweds have jetted off to the private Bahamian island of Kamalame Cay.

Kamalame Cay has three miles of deserted beach with just 27 bungalows, cottages and villas, plus — of course — "an oceanside tennis court where Serena practiced," a source told Page Six. "They stayed in a four-bedroom villa called Magnolia, located 100 feet from the beach."

The secluded spread comes with "20-foot peak ceilings" and an "open concept, living-dining space," plus a 1,500-square-foot terrace.

Tennis icon Williams posted a video online captioned, "A week in paradise. Thanks @bookingcom for helping us find the perfect honeymoon villa."

Booking.com's also been known as a favorite of stars including Heidi Klum.

At the wedding of Williams and the Reddit co-founder were friends including Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Eva Longoria.

Kamalame Cay is only accessible by private ferry, helicopter ($2,000 each way) or seaplane ($2,486). The couple arrived via private plane, the source said. They also went bonefishing while they honeymooned.

Rates for the four-bedroom, five-bathroom villa during the low season begin at $3,335 per night for standard amenities, which include a daily breakfast basket, in-room Nespresso coffee and selection of teas, daily homemade cookie delivery, personal golf cart, in-room iPod dock and Bose stereo, Molton Brown toiletries, complimentary Internet Lounge Wi-Fi, laundry service and use of sporting equipment, according to Kamalame Cay's website.

The couple spent a week on the private island.

However, nightly rates can increase to $5,055 should the couple opt to be "guests of house," which includes all of the standard amenities plus bespoke services such as a private sunset cruise, a bath butler, scuba diving lessons and an afternoon picnic on a secluded beach.

Williams and Ohanian also could relax at the Bahamas' only overwater spa, where they enjoyed a 90-minute couples massage, which costs $210 per person.

{blackbabes} Prince Harry proposed to Meghan during a ‘romantic’ night at home

https://nyppagesix.files.wordpress.com/2017/11/171127-prince-harry-engagement-03.jpg?quality=90&strip=all&w=453

Prince Harry popped the question to American actress Meghan Markle at their Kensington Palace cottage, getting down on one knee while they were "trying to roast a chicken," the couple said Monday.

"It was just an amazing surprise," Markle, 36, gushed in an interview with the BBC after their engagement was announced. "It was so sweet and natural and very romantic."

The "Suits" star, who will wed Harry next spring, didn't have to think hard about her answer.

"She didn't even let me finish," Harry said. "Then there were hugs and I had the ring in my finger and I was like can I give you the ring? She goes — oh yes the ring."

Markle proudly showed off the diamond dazzler — which includes two stones from Princess Diana's jewelry collection — when the couple posed for photos on the grounds of Kensington Palace on Monday.

Harry said he wanted to include two diamonds that belonged to his late mom "to make sure that she's with us on this – on this crazy journey together."

"Not being able to meet his mother, it's so important to me to know that she's a part of this with us," Markle added.

Diana's sparkling rocks flank a central diamond from Botswana, the African country where the lovebirds camped out for five days about a month after meeting through a mutual friend in July 2016.

"We were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure we had a chance to get to know each other," Harry said.

The prince said Diana would have been "best friends" with his future bride.

"I think she would be over the moon, jumping up and down, so excited for me, but then, as I said, she would have probably been best friends – best friends with Meghan," he said.

"You know, it is days like today I really miss having her around and miss being able to share the happy news. But, you know, with the ring and with everything else that's going on, I'm sure she's with us."

{blackbabes} ‘Suits’ Meghan Markle & Prince Harry To Marry; Royal Wedding Next Spring

Suits actress Meghan Markle and Britain's Prince Harry have made it official. The pair has been dating since July 2016 and today announced their engagement. A statement from Clarence House, the office of Harry's father Prince Charles, said, "His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms Meghan Markle." The nuptials, which are sure to be the center of a media frenzy, are to take place in the spring of next year with further details to be revealed.

Already today, Kensington Palace said that the couple will appear for a photo call this afternoon and take part in a broadcast interview to be aired this evening. The royal wedding of Harry's brother Prince William to Kate Middleton in 2011 was watched by 23M Americans across 11 networks while nearly 27M watched in the UK.

Markle, who has appeared on USA's Suits since the beginning, has been reported to be eyeing an exit from the series and that's helped fuel speculation that a royal wedding was afoot. The contracts of all Suits original cast members are up after Season 7, so Markle will have fulfilled her current obligations.

The relationship between Markle and the prince, who is 5th in line to the throne, has been the focus of intense media scrutiny. But in an unprecedented move, Harry last year attacked the British press for introducing "racial overtones" into the coverage of their relationship, and condemned "the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments." At the time, The Guardian reported Kensington Palace sources said Harry feared for Markle's safety and that of her family after they were "subjected to a wave of abuse" during investigations into the relationship.

Eva Marcille (ex-Tyra Hamilton, The Young & The Restless) keeps the exciting news coming!

E! News can confirm the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is pregnant and expecting her second child—a baby boy! She's already a mama to her 3-year-old daughter, Marley Rae, with her ex Kevin McCall, but the baby will mark her first with boyfriend Michael Sterling.

Marcille took to Instagram to share the exciting news alongside a photo of Marley and Michael, writing, "We're Expecting!!!!! 5 months in and we couldn't be more excited!!! @miketsterling gets a mini me and #Marley gets a sidekick."

The America's Next Top Model Cycle 3 winner also spoke to People about the news.

"I said, 'Marley, would you like to have a little brother or sister?' And she said, 'Yes, Mom, but you know what? Maybe a baby brother. Make it a brother,'" Marcille recalled of her daughter's comments. "I thought that was adorable, but at the time, I had no idea what I was having, so my fear [about] this extremely expressive and outgoing young girl [was] if this baby came out to be a little girl, that might not be a great situation for Marley."

She continued, "However, I found out soon after that I was having a boy, and I felt like she willed it in her favor. I'm beyond elated to be having a boy."

So exciting! Congratulations to the growing family.

{blackbabes} Rashida Jones Reveals Why She Left Toy Story 4 as Pixar boss John Lasseter Takes Leave of Absence

Rashida Jones has left the upcoming Toy Story 4 due to "creative and philosophical differences" and not because of an alleged encounter with Pixar boss John Lasseter.

The actress and writer was signed on to co-write the screenplay for the upcoming sequel but left the project early on.

While The Hollywood Reporter claimed it was because Lasseter was inappropriate, Jones and her writing partner Will McCormack – who are still credited as writers on the movie set to be released in 2019 – released a statement late Tuesday denying that was the reason, instead said it was for a number of reasons including the alleged treatment of women of color by the company.

"We did not leave Pixar because of unwanted advances. That is untrue," Jones said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE about the alleged reason she ended her Pixar partnership. That said, we are happy to see people speaking out about behavior that made them uncomfortable. As for us, we parted ways because of creative and, more importantly, philosophical differences," Jones' statement said.

"There is so much talent at Pixar and we remain enormous fans of their films. But it is also a culture where women and people of color do not have an equal creative voice, as is demonstrated by their director demographics: out of the 20 films in the company's history, only one was co-directed by a woman and only one was directed by a person of color. We encourage Pixar to be leaders in bolstering, hiring, and promoting more diverse and female storytellers and leaders. We hope we can encourage all those who have felt like their voices could not be heard in the past to feel empowered," her statement said.

Lasseter is taking a sabbatical from his post as head of Pixar and Walt Disney animation after sending a memo apologizing to staff on Tuesday about any inappropriate behavior. "I especially want to apologize to anyone who has ever been on the receiving end of an unwanted hug or any other gesture they felt crossed the line in any way, shape, or form," he wrote in the memo obtained by PEOPLE.

A Disney spokesperson tells PEOPLE that the company supports his decision. "We are committed to maintaining an environment in which all employees are respected and empowered to do their best work. We appreciate John's candor and sincere apology and fully support his sabbatical," they said in a statement.

The Hollywood Reporter quotes a longtime Pixar employee who said Lasseter was known for "grabbing, kissing, making comments about physical attributes" at the company. The report also quotes a longtime insider who allegedly witnessed Lasseter repeatedly rest his hand on a woman's leg during a meeting 15 years ago.

"She was bent over and [had her arm] across her thigh. The best I can describe it is as a defensive posture …  John had his hand on her knee, though, moving around," the insider recalled to THR.

Lasseter directed Toy Story and Toy Story 2 among other Pixar films, and has produced or executive produced every Pixar project.

{blackbabes} ‘True Blood’ alum Rutina Wesley engaged to girlfriend

Rutina Wesley appears to be starting a new chapter with the light of her life.

Over the weekend, the "True Blood" alumna, who currently portrays queer journalist and activist Nova Bordelon on "Queen Sugar," seemingly announced her engagement to New Orleans-based culinary guru, Chef Shonda, in an Instagram gallery showcasing their love story.

Beginning with the opening slide of, "Overthinking is the biggest cause of our unhappiness. Keep yourself occupied. Keep your mind off things that don't help you," Wesley, 38, then shared snaps of the couple together, including a final shot of what appears to be an engagement ring.

"#AlwaysMORENeverLESSISaidYES," Wesley wrote, along with series of hashtags, "She feeds my soul, I was looking at her and found my joy, @chef_shonda I love you more than words."

Over the course of the past month, Wesley has continually posted snaps of Shonda, who she described Nov. 12 as the "sunshine of my life," seemingly addressing their relationship status.

Wesley was previously wed to actor Jacob Fishel from 2005 to 2013.

A rep for Wesley did not immediately return a request for comment.

{blackbabes} Why Serena Williams used a stand-in baby for new ad

Video: https://youtu.be/6JvRVILczps

Serena Williams' two-month-old daughter will have to wait a little while longer for her closeup.

The tennis ace, who currently stars in Gatorade's female empowerment ad, "Sisters in Sweat," cradles a baby in the commercial, with many believing the infant to be her only child, Alexis Olympia. But as Ad Age reported Monday, a stand-in was used instead.

"While Serena intended to have Olympia make her screen debut as part of this film, her daughter was under the weather and unable to be on set, but the sentiment remains the same," a Gatorade spokeswoman told the magazine via email.

The nearly two-minute clip, released Monday, includes a voiceover from Williams, 36, as she offers her baby girl and other young women advice.

"Baby girl, I won't mind if you play tennis badly. I won't mind if you choose to never pick up a racket. But I beg you, in this game of life, please keep playing no matter what," Williams said.

Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 34, welcomed their first child together in early September. The couple wed in New Orleans last week, almost a year after announcing their engagement.

{blackbabes} Gabby Douglas Says U.S. Team Doctor Larry Nassar Abused Her, Too

Gabby Douglas just announced that she, too, was abused by her former team doctor, Larry Nassar ... this after 2 other U.S. gymnasts claimed the same thing.

Gabby issued a statement Tuesday which started out by apologizing for her perceived victim shaming of ex-teammate Aly Raisman ... and then dropped the bombshell that she, too, was a victim.

She said she didn't view her comments as victim shaming because "I know that no matter what you wear, it NEVER gives anyone the right to harass or abuse you. It would be like saying that because of the leotards we wore, it was our fault that we were abused by Larry Nassar."

Gabby continued ... "I didn't publicly share my experiences as well as many other things because for years we were conditioned to stay silent and honestly some things were extremely painful. I wholeheartedly support my teammates for coming forward with what happened to them."

As we reported ... Simone Biles blasted Gabby last week after Gabby essentially told Aly that women need to dress modestly to help avoid attracting potential predators.

Gabby apologized for the way her comment came off at the time .. but did not go public with her accusation of sexual abuse until now.

{blackbabes} Mariah Carey signs with Jay Z’s Roc Nation after firing manager

Pop diva Mariah Carey is hoping Jay-Z's Roc Nation team will help put her back on top.

Page Six has exclusively learned that she's signing with Roc Nation to manage her career after firing former manager Stella Bulochnikov earlier this month.

"[Mariah's] cleaning house. She is getting legitimate people, assistants, a lawyer, and Stella is not happy about it," an insider told us.

Sources previously told us that Carey's backup-dancer boy toy Bryan Tanaka had taken over as her manager, but his role is creative director.

"Previously, there were all kinds of people involved [in her career] and Mariah didn't even know those people. She had to distance herself from all that and she's now cleaning house," the source said.

{blackbabes} True Detective Season 3: Carmen Ejogo to Star Opposite Mahershala Ali

Carmen Ejogo True Detective Season 3

You can stop making your #TrueDetectiveSeason3 memes now: Oscar winner Mahershala Ali finally has a partner in the cast.

Carmen Ejogo (Zero Hour) will star alongside Ali in the third season of HBO's True Detective, TVLine has learned. Ejogo will play Amelia Reardon, an Arkansas schoolteacher who has a connection to two children who went missing in the 1980s. Season 3 of the crime anthology "tells the story of a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks, and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods," per the network's official description.

As we reported back in August, Ali will star as Arkansas state police detective Wayne Hays. (Something tells us Wayne will be the one looking into those missing children… and maybe Amelia helps him find them?) Creator Nic Pizzolatto returns to write and direct in Season 3, which doesn't have a premiere date set yet. Green Room director Jeremy Saulnier will helm episodes as well.

Ejogo is a prominent film actress, appearing in Alien: Covenant and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and playing Coretta Scott King in the Oscar-winning film Selma. She co-starred as FBI agent Rebecca "Beck" Riley in the short-lived ABC drama Zero Hour, and currently is starring in Season 2 of Starz's The Girlfriend Experience.

{blackbabes} Jay Pharoah, Katt Williams, Keke Palmer In Lionsgate Laffer ‘#Twominutesoffame’

After moving seamlessly from Saturday Night Live to the Showtime sitcom White Famous, Jay Pharoah has been set as a lead of #twominutesoffame, starring with Katt Williams and Keke Palmer in a Lionsgate/CodeBlack feature comedy fused to the studio's Laugh Out Loud streaming network that launched in August.

Pharoah will play an up-and-coming social media sensation who travels to L.A. with dreams of becoming a big stand-up comedy star, after his impressions of an Eddie Murphy-like stand up comedian-turned-movie star blow up virally. Katt plays that reigning king of comedy, who might be at the brink of losing his throne but is upset by being made fun of and plans a rude awakening for the upstart. Palmer plays the Pharoah character's long suffering live-in love, who watches him follow his dream to Los Angeles while she's stuck home, paying the bills and caring for their child.

Devon Shepard and Yamara Taylor wrote the script, and Leslie Small will direct. CodeBlack Entertainment's Jeff Clanagan will produce alongside Paul Hall.

The movie brings a fictional storyline to the streaming network that is run by Lionsgate. Laugh Out Loud's mission is to help break comic talent on the streaming network, and its existence is integral to the plot. Some of the talent developed on the site, including social media influencers DC Young Fly (a TRL host) and Jess Hilarious, also will play roles in the film.

Williams most recently was seen in the films Father Figure, Scary Movie 5 and School Dance. Palmer first appeared in a Lionsgate film when she broke through as the 11-year old spelling bee champ title character of 2006's Akeelah and the Bee.

Pharoah stars on Lionsgate's White Famous as Floyd Mooney, a rising young African-American comedian who is carefully navigating an attempt to become a crossover star (or "white famous") while trying to maintain his credibility. The series is exec produced by Jamie Foxx, who based it on his own experiences, and Tom Kapinos. Pharoah jumped into that after an SNL turn that featured some of the funniest impressions that show has ever seen. One in particular bears a passing resemblance to the plot of this movie: Pharoah's SNL impression of gridiron star-turned-broadcaster Shannon Sharpe was fall-out-of-your-chair funny — to just about everyone but Sharpe.

Pharoah is repped by ICM Partners, Shaina Farrow and Hansen Jacobson. Williams is ICM Partners and Palmer UTA and Laren Entertainment.

{blackbabes} Serena Williams Marries Alexis Ohanian

Serena Williams is a married woman!

The tennis all-star tied the knot with Alexis Ohanian, her Reddit co-founder beau of two years, in front of their closest family and friends, sources confirm to E! News. The newlyweds' star-studded guest list included Serena's sister Venus Williams, Ciara, Russell Wilson, La La Anthony and more.

Also in attendance was Serena and Alexis' little girl, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., who was born a little over two months ago.

Just last week, the 23-time Grand Slam winner kicked off the wedding festivities with a bachelorette party in New York City. Serena was joined by her famous gal pals at the Baccarat Hotel & Residences for a weekend of five-star spa treatments, trapezing, tea brunches, dinner and dancing.

On Wednesday evening, the couple enjoyed a star-studded rehearsal dinner at Emeril Lagasse's Meril restaurant. A source tells E! News about 100 guests were in attendance at the dinner, including stars Colton Haynes, Eva Longoria and husband José Antonio Bastón as well as Cynthia Erivo. And the insider also shares that Cafe Du Monde provided their famous beignets for dessert.

Before the rehearsal dinner Wednesday, Williams' Galia Lahav wedding gown was spotted arriving to her in New Orleans along with a masseuse and nail polishes. On Thursday before the ceremony, flowers and alcohol were spotted arriving at the venue.

As for Mr. and Mrs. Ohanian, their love story began back in May 2015 when Alexis sat himself down at a table near Serena and her friends at a hotel in Rome. They tried to get Alexis to leave by telling him there was a rat under his chair, but the charming tech mogul remained unfazed, and Serena asked him to join the group for breakfast.

A month later, Williams invited Ohanian to watch her play at the French Open. By April 2016, he told Vanity Fair in their joint cover story that he knew Serena was "the one."

"I felt like a door had been opened to a person who made me want to be my best self," he gushed. "I find myself just wanting to be better by simply being around her because of the standard she holds."

To the surprise of fans unaware of their low-key romance, Alexis proposed to Serena in December 2016 at the same table they'd met a year and a half prior. A source told E! News at the time that the athlete's friends and family had "never seen Serena this happy before with a man. It sounds cheesy, but it was love at first sight."

"They laugh non-stop and that really fuels their relationship," the insider continued. "They are on the same page in life and are excited to start something great with each other."

And starting something great together happened a bit sooner than expected, as Serena announced her pregnancy in April 2017.

As Williams, 35, reflected to Vanity Fair, "If you would have told me last year in October or November that I would have a baby, not be pregnant but have a baby, I would have thought you were the biggest liar in the world. This is kind of how I am right now. This is happening sooner than later, and it's going by so fast."

The pair embraced parenthood with open arms, and love sharing moments from their time at home with baby Olympia on social media.

"Serena is doing beyond perfect," a source shared with E! News exclusively shortly after the celeb gave birth. "She feels great and is just glowing about being a mother for the first time. Her baby girl is healthy and beautiful."

Our source added, "Her fiancé is the nicest man alive. He really is so in love with Serena and is really supportive not only as a new dad but also as a partner. He is a busy man but puts Serena first in everything he does."

And it shows! We can't wait to see how Serena and Alexis' life together continues to unfold.

Now on to the honeymoon! Congratulations to the entire family.
