Mariah Carey's planned guest spot on Empire likely won't come until the Season 2 finale — and will probably find the diva playing a character other than herself, creator Lee Daniels tells EW.com. "She's giving us the hard assignment of trying to create a character," Daniels noted, "which we're doing right now."
