FKA twigs is keeping tight-lipped about any upcoming wedding to fiancé Robert Pattinson.
"Who told you I was getting married?" the singer asked during an interview with Britain's The Sunday Times. "You might read somewhere I'm a monkey and it doesn't mean I am."
Though twigs (née Tahliah Barnett) refused to confirm her engagement to the A-list actor, she explained to the newspaper she was "not prepared to talk about my private life" and that she doesn't "really understand the fascination."
That's probably because she still hasn't seen Twilight! The singer, 27, mentioned that she had yet to watch the hit franchise.
"It's so bad to be basic," she added. "I'm not the kind of person who goes to an exhibition on a Thursday night just because everyone is. ... I don't have an average day. I hate that kind of thing.
"I don't understand what the levels [of fame] are," she continued. "I'm a bit naïve ... I don't engage in that world, even with myself, even with my own career."
Pattinson, 29, and twigs started dating in September and are currently living together, a source told PEOPLE in March. And it seems she's already pondering motherhood.
"Women are amazing creatures. We can give birth. We have a womb. We can create life! Are you kidding me? We can create life!" she said. "Do you know what I mean? I honestly didn't give a s--- about any of this stuff until about two years ago. I don't know whether it's my age – I'm going to be 28 in January – but all of a sudden I started thinking that if I had a daughter, it is gonna be terrifying."
