Forget date night at the movies. Viola Davis and husband Julius Tennon said they have their couple time in a much more intimate setting.
"We do date nights in the Jacuzzi," Davis, 48, told Editorial Director of PEOPLE Jess Cagle on the Oscars Red Carpet Live pre-show on ABC Sunday evening.
Even better, the cozy-looking couple isn't afraid to make room for one more.
"There's room for you, too," Davis, dressed in a strapless Escada gown, jokingly told Cagle after he kiddingly asked for an invite.
The pair appeared connected as ever after nearly 11 years of marriage. They completed each other's sentences and shared a hearty laugh during the interview, while Tennon sweetly put a hand on his wife's arm.
Davis, a former Oscar nominee presenting at this year's show, also admitted that it's a treat to attend the big night when the pressure's off.
"I'm relaxed," she said. "I see everything now. I'm enjoying it."
