If the idea of listening in on a girl talk conversation between Nicole Richie and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley sounds appealing, you're in luck.

Rosie sat down with Nicole for Philadelphia Style magazine to talk about Nicole's upcoming apparel line for House of Harlow, all things fashion, motherhood and more.

Rosie asked Nicole to describe her style, and the 32-year-old designer answered in her true, laid-back fashion: "I've always been someone who's extremely relaxed in my everyday life. I'm not the girl who can wear awful seven-inch heels all night."

And as for why we always see Nicole in prints and color, she explains, " I like color around my face because it does something to me emotionally. I don't like to wear black because it brings me down."

With Nicole's upcoming apparel line coming up, Nicole explained what inspired her to initially get into the fashion industry. "Back in the '80s, my dad had a costume designer named Edna, and she would make me matching tour outfits out of his excess fabric. We're talking jewels and sequins, very flashy."

Rosie also asked Nicole if her style has changed post-motherhood, and Nicole said no. "I'm still wearing the same stuff, the same jeans, the peasant tops." And clearly Rosie is thinking ahead to her future motherhood days down the road, because she said, "I'm glad to hear that. I'm always wondering if it's going to change and if I'm going to end up looking really mumsy."

And of course Nicole reassured the flawless model immediately. "Um, no, you're never going to look really mumsy! You could be bald and you'd still be the most gorgeous mother ever." We totally agree.
