{blackbabes} 'X Factor's' Kelly Rowland: 'I am firm. I like to be honest'

"The X Factor" is launching its third season Wednesday (Sept. 11) with two new faces at the judges table -- Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland, who is formerly of girl group Destiny's Child. Rowland says she is "so excited about her new job."

"[The judges] just have a good time together, to be honest. This isn't about the judges, it's about talent. It's about finding great talent," says Rowland. "America will be surprised by the amount of talent we have in each group."

As far as her judging style goes, Rowland says she's nice, but not too nice.

"I'm constructive when it comes to riticsm. I am firm. I like to be honest," says Rowland. "I remember coming up in the music industry and I ran into people who had some harsh things to say, but I grew more from people who actually were constructive ... I paid attention to those people and want to apply that to the way I'm a judge. It's about watching people grow and become something wonderful."

She also says Simon's going to be "a pretty cool dad." Heh.
