Overview:
Under limited supervision; designs, develops, modifies and evaluates logical and physical data models and builds data migration strategies. Works with Business Analysts, System Analysts and Data Architects to translate the business requirements into models.

Requires a solid understanding of the Managed Care HealthCare environment including but not limited to Claims processing, DRGs and HCPCS coding, Institutional and Professional billing, Eligibility, and Membership, preferably within the data warehouse space.
Responsibilities:
With limited supervision generates conceptual and logical models (staging and integrative) for the healthcare domain.
With limited supervision, generates data profiles.
With limited supervision, participates in Metadata gathering and modeling.
With limited supervision, participates in ETL by definition of source and target mapping specifications.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree(s).
Years and Type of Experience Required:
Requires a minimum of 2 years of Managed Care domain experience.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of Data Modeling experience.
