{blackbabes} Rihanna posts telling tweet

Rihanna and Chris Brown appear to be very much back together, if the Umbrella hitmaker's latest tweet is anything to go by.

After insisting she was single in a post on Dec. 18, the pretty R&B star was spotted with Brown at the Los Angeles Lakers' Christmas Day basketball game, and now she has jetted off to the Ivory Coast to be with the Kiss Kiss singer as he prepares to perform at the Kora Awards in Abidjan.

And it seems Rihanna is keen to ring in 2013 as her ex's new lady love after posting a telling tweet on Sunday, Dec. 30.

She wrote, "Are u still down baby? Are u really bout that life? Is you down for the ride?.......here we go again."

The couple split in early 2009 after a headline-grabbing fight, which left Rihanna battered and bruised and resulted in assault charges for Brown.

Brown split from model girlfriend Karrueche Tran earlier this year amid reports he had fallen in love with Rihanna again following a series of recording sessions with his ex.

Grainy video footage of Rihanna and Brown arriving in Abidjan has been obtained by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

{blackbabes} Houston murdered: Private detective

A top private investigator has poured doubt on Whitney Houston's drowning death verdict, insisting she was murdered by drug bosses she owed over $1 million to.

Paul Huebl claims he has evidence that suggests the tragic singer was killed by two men collecting a drug debt.

Houston was found dead in a bathtub in her Beverly Hills hotel suite in February, and the detective tells The Sun, "I have evidence that points to Whitney being a victim of high-powered drug dealers who sent thugs to collect a huge debt she owed for drugs.

"Whitney's body shows classic defence wounds that would have occurred while she was battling for her life."

And Huebl claims he has CCTV footage to back up his findings.

A month after Houston's passing, officials at the Los Angeles County coroner's office ruled that Houston died from drowning combined with the "effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use".

Free Product Market Placement 4 Buyer's, Seller's

The other day I decided to clean out my garage, and was amazed at the amount of unwanted items I'd collected over the last couple of years. There was a couple of cell phones, ski boots, my old laptop, pieces of furniture and even the old salt water system from the pool. All were in excellent working order and far too good to throw away. Thinking that they would certainly be useful to someone somewhere, I decided to advertise them on the Internet. But where would I find the best free advertising online?

Venus and Serena Williams' personal chef Lauren Von Der Pool has released a cookbook focused on green living called "Eat Yourself Sexy!" Von Der Pool created a raw vegan diet for Venus — which Serena followed as a show of solidarity — after she was diagnosed with immune disorder Sjogren's syndrome, helping the tennis star to compete in this year's US Open. Just in time for New Year's resolutions, the book focuses on "delicious, cellular regenerating meals," that promise "glowing skin, great energy and healthy hair." Von Der Pool has catered the Oscars and worked with First Lady Michelle Obama on her Let's Move campaign.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell isn't letting her leg injury spoil her New Year's plans. We're told the British beauty, who is suffering from a torn ligament, was not able to make her usual trip to St. Barts this holiday season, so she decided to throw a bash in Miami instead. A source tells us, "Naomi has been planning a party for [tonight] on Miami's Star Island. She has been busy contacting all her friends who are still in town to join her and boyfriend Vladimir Doronin at the party, at a private house." Sources tell us that Campbell, who threw a party during Art Basel earlier this month at Sean "Diddy" Combs' Star Island mansion, has been offered the use of his house again as the Ciroc mogul is currently vacationing on a yacht in St. Barts. Reps for Campbell, whose new TV model show, "The Face," starts on Oxygen in February, were not available for comment last night.

{blackbabes} Serena opens new season with comfortable win

MR.BEER® Home Brewing Kits. American's #1 Home Brewing System. Makes a great gift!

BRISBANE, Australia -- Starting the 2013 schedule a couple of days before the New Year put Serena Williams under a little more pressure than usual to produce a convincing victory in her first match of the season.

After saving five break points as she adjusted to a strong cross breeze in the first game, the 15-time major winner needed less than an hour to beat No. 21-ranked Varvara Lepchenko 6-2, 6-1 in the first round of the Brisbane International on Sunday.

Williams won 31 of her last 32 matches in the second half of the 2012 season, including titles at Wimbledon, the Olympics, U.S. Open and the WTA Championships. She won 58 of 62 matches in total this year, a win-loss record she didn't want to diminish in any way.

"Tomorrow is the last day of the year, so technically I still had my 2012 rep on the line," she said. "I really needed to win today so I could finish the year with still just the four losses. So that was important for me."

Williams didn't show any signs of being hampered by the minor surgery on her big toes which forced her to withdraw from a Dec. 29 exhibition in Thailand, moving freely throughout the match against the Uzbekistan-born Lepchenko, who now represents the United States.

"I was a little nervous, but I was completely fine," the No. 3-ranked Williams said. "The doctor said I would be fine. I was excited to get an early start so just in case I did have any pain I could have tomorrow off. But everything was fine."

Williams said she didn't believe in New Year's resolutions. That doesn't stop her aiming for a sweep of the majors. She held all four Grand Slam titles at one stage, winning the 2003 Australian Open after claiming the French, Wimbledon and U.S. Open titles in 2002, but she's never completed a season slam.

"I think for me, absolutely," she replied to questions if the Slam was possible for her for 2013. "I think maybe whoever wins will Australian Open will have that same thought. I think there is no way that Victoria (Azarenka) or Maria (Sharapova) or maybe some other players don't feel the same way. So I think I definitely feel that way."

And if that doesn't work, she's planning on giving herself a few more years to attempt it, saying her experience at the London Olympics gave her the desire to keep playing until the 2016 Games in Rio.

Eight of the top 10 women are contesting the Brisbane International, with Azarenka and Sharapova getting byes in the first round.

Sixth-seeded Petra Kvitova had a 6-3, 6-4 win over Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain and will next meet Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, who beat Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.

Kvitova, who won the 2011 Brisbane International before claiming her first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, was unable to convert her first match point at 5-2 in the second set, then dropped a service game before Suarez Navarro's late comeback ended with an error on the second match point.

In other matches, Australian wildcard entry Jarmila Gajdosova had a 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 win over 16th-ranked Roberta Vinci of Italy to set up a second-round match against No. 2-seeded Sharapova. Urszula Radwanska of Poland beat Tamira Paszek of Austria 2-6, 6-0, 6-2 and Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova had a 7-5, 6-2 win over Lourdes Dominguez Lino of Spain.

Australia's Samantha Stosur was headlining the night session Monday, hoping to give the home crowd something to celebrate on Monday night.

{blackbabes} Williams, Isner edge South Africans at Hopman

MR.BEER® Home Brewing Kits. American's #1 Home Brewing System. Makes a great gift!

PERTH, Australia -- Venus Williams and John Isner led the United States to a 2-1 victory over South Africa at the Hopman Cup mixed team competition Sunday.

Williams rallied to defeat 60th-ranked Chanelle Scheepers 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. After Kevin Anderson beat Isner 7-6 (0), 7-6 (5), the match came down to mixed doubles. Williams and Isner beat the South Africans 6-3, 6-2 to clinch victory.

Williams took some time to settle in against an opponent who rallied well and hit the ball deep. Scheepers broke Williams at love to serve for the first set. But after that, the seven-time Grand Slam champion looked increasingly comfortable and began to play more aggressively.

Williams clinched the second set when Scheepers double-faulted. She then won the first four games of the third.

Williams was playing for the first time since winning at Luxembourg in mid-October.

"I was just trying to find some rhythm out there," she said. "She's obviously a really good player having maintained a top-40, top-50 ranking the last couple of years. She played a match yesterday, too, so had an extra advantage. It felt good out there.

"I'm not expecting to be perfect now, but I'm thinking that my game will get better every match. I think the doubles will help as well to hone everything. More than anything I was just so excited to be out there playing, and I'm ready to go for it."

In the late contest, Spain beat France 2-1 after Fernando Verdasco and Anabel Medina Garrigues teamed up with to win the mixed doubles against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Mathilde Johansson.

Tsonga put France ahead when he beat Verdasco 7-5, 6-3 in the singles, and Medina Garrigues levelled by overcoming Mathilde Johansson 6-3, 6-2.

Tsonga saved three set points before going up 1-0. He then broke three times in the second set and closed out the match on his fourth match point.

"It was not easy at the beginning," Tsonga said. "He played well. Then I wake up and played a lot better and it was a good match for me, to win the first match of the season. The first one is always tough. You have to be really focused. The best part of my game was that I moved pretty well today."

Medina Garrigues was rarely under pressure against Johansson, breaking to lead 4-3 and then taking the opening set when Johansson hit a double-fault on break point.

Three consecutive breaks of serve in the second set left the Spaniard leading 3-1, and she broke once more at love to claim victory.

On Monday, top-ranked Novak Djokovic and former No. 1 Ana Ivanovic represent Serbia against the Italian team of Andreas Seppi and Francesca Schiavone.

Andrea Petkovic, who retired with a right knee injury after winning the first set against Australia's Ashleigh Barty on Saturday, has withdrawn from the competition and will be replaced by Tatjana Malek for Germany's remaining contests against Italy and Serbia.

Petkovic, who ruptured her meniscus, will miss the Australian Open and is returning to Germany for treatment.

Brandy Norwood, Instagram

Bling, bling!

Just a few days after Ryan Press popped the question, Brandy Norwood and her music-exec beau headed to Instagram to show off her stunning engagement sparkler.

Wearing a red flower in her hair and a bathing suit cover up, the 33-year-old "Put It Down" singer posed next to her fiancé, revealing her massive rock while she was at it.

"Repost @ryanpress215! #hawaii #love #forever," Brandy wrote in a caption alongside the pic (Press posted the same shot on his page).

Back in August, Norwood talked to Sister2Sister magazine about a possible future engagement to Press, saying, "I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don't know. I'm going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be...I guess it will happen when it's the right time."

"Keep your fingers crossed for sometime soon I will be engaged," Norwood went on.

Apparently, Press was taking note.
