WORCESTER, Massachusetts (AP)—Serena Williams says her sister Venus will be ready for this weekend's Fed Cup matches against Belarus.
Serena says Venus has been training every day, and is "coming along awesome."
The sisters are teammates on the U.S. team that will face Belarus and new No. 1 Victoria Azarenka, the Australian Open champion.
Serena says it's fun being able to play team events with her sister because they don't get to spend much time together.
It will be Venus Williams' first competitive appearance since the 2011 U.S. Open, when she revealed she had Sjogren's Syndrome. The autoimmune disease that can cause fatigue and joint pain.
The sisters did play in an exhibition in Colombia in November.

Castmates and rumored off-screen couple Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana weren't coy about their relationship status at Sundance! The costars were spotted taking their romance public, smooching at a cocktail party for their film The Words at the Park City, Utah, film festival.
"They were kissing in front of the fire and being very affectionate," an onlooker tells us of the pair, who so far have been silent about their budding romance. Adds a source: "They are definitely very together."
Another onlooker at the party says that the pair were caught in an intense conversation and were giggling, with Saldana touching Cooper's arm as he told a story before they retreated to a couch together. Adds the onlooker: "They were like two seventh graders. The electricity was out of this world."
The night before their PDA-filled party at Montage Deer Valley, the two attended an Acura-hosted premiere dinner together. The private party drew about 50 people, just castmembers and close friends of the actors, and Saldana and Cooper were spotted interacting with everyone at the dinner. Description:
Responsible for oversight and implementation of the new systems transition for Personal Lines from Phoenix to Program Connect (LPL) including write business requirements, establish procedures, manage priorities of testing and production, state by state roll-out (new and renewal business), Program Administrator training, UAT testing, management reporting, state compliance adherence, daily progress/status meetings, providing clarity and feedback to the programming team, reporting overall progress and issues to senior management. Routinely coordinates with outside vendors (RiskMeter, ISO, AONBenfield) to facilitate incorporation of additional underwriting information into Program Connect.
Responsible for all compliance related issues within Personal Lines. Work with the Legal department to address changes and effective systems implementation and to ensure state compliance results with program connect. Also address Department of Insurance (DOI) complaints.
o Guaranteed wording, Insured Bill of Rights, State Insurance Disclosures all have to be displayed in different locations, different font, etc within the Quote, Binder, and policy. Working with Legal and Compliance this information has been integrated into Program Connect. Since Program Connect will produce documents differently than Phoenix the output has to be reviewed with Legal to ensure compliance with state statutes.
o Works with Legal to handle DOI complaints. Complaints require that the underwriting file is fully reviewed and a Home Office Underwriting opinion is provided to Legal regarding the complaint.
Responsible for all production and compliance moves within the Personal Lines Phoenix system. Ensure that all release notes and changes are effectively communicated to the field. Includes some Help Desk responsibilities to address questions and functionality related to system changes.
Microsoft XL this needs to be a well accomplished XL person that fully understands the following:
o Multiple worksheet looks ups and navigation
o Extreme calculations and data manipulation
o vLookup and other match/merge data functions
o Template creation and consolidation (from field into a single sheet)
o Novice use will not be enough for this role.
Microsoft Access an accomplished Access person that can create and maintain MS access databases, create input forms for users and work effectively moving data from/to XL, access, etc. Also needed is the store data from external sources and write reports from the access database
Data savvy Person needs to be able to quickly learn our data, systems, manual adjustments necessary and how to satisfy specific reporting requirements quickly.
Quickly learn the reports and ad hoc requests to streamline the process and improve the accuracy of our reporting.
Have excellent communication skills to understand what is being requested at a detail level, and document each step of XL and Access process so others are also able to perform.

Hip-hop star M.I.A. has confirmed reports suggesting Sunday's Super Bowl half-time show will be an all-girls affair by announcing she and Nicki Minaj will be taking the stage in Indianapolis with Madonna.
The Paper Planes star and Minaj joined the Material Girl in the studio to record new single Give Me All Your Luvin', and it appears the trio will debut the track live on one of the sports world's biggest events this weekend.
M.I.A. tells the BBC, "Yes, I'm going to the Super Bowl... I'm gonna be performing with Madonna and Nicki Minaj," adding, "If you're gonna go to the Super Bowl, you might as well go with America's biggest female icons."
Footage of M.I.A. working with Madonna in the studio was released to the Internet last week.
