Tamera Mowry-Housley has been tapped to host Hallmark's new baking competition series Baked with Love: Holiday.
Announced in April, Baked with Love: Holiday will follow 10 pairs of home bakers as they face off in a family-recipe bake-off. The winning duo will receive $50,000.
Joining Mowry-Housley on the judges panel is Irish chef and restauranteur, Anna Haugh (MasterChef: The Professionals) and New York Times cooking expert Vaughn Vreeland (NYT Cooking). Production on the series just wrapped; it will premiere later this year.
"This show is the perfect recipe for joy, combining the magic of baking for the holidays with the warmth, charm, and heartfelt connections that embody the Hallmark spirit," said Hallmark Media head of unscripted David Stefanou. "We're thrilled to bring audiences a series that mixes delectable treats with the comforting, feel-good storytelling our viewers love and expect. It's about more than just competition. It's about living your best Hallmark life."
Baked with Love: Holiday is produced by Objective Entertainment, part of Objective Media Group, an All3Media Company, with Chloe Court serving as showrunner, Alice Binks as series producer, and Lucy Shepherd as director of programmes. The production executive is Clair Carney with Charlie Williams as the line producer.
